Welcome: The Story Behind the Studio
When people ask how I became an interior designer, they're often surprised to learn that my journey didn't begin with decorating homes, it began with studying Environmental Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City.
Environmental Design is about much more than aesthetics. It's the study of how people experience a space—how materials, color, lighting, scale, and layout influence the way we live, work, gather, and feel. That philosophy has shaped every project I've worked on throughout my career and continues to guide every home I design today.
Over the past 15 years, I've had the opportunity to design an incredibly diverse range of spaces. From music award show environments and branded retail experiences for Verizon, to short-term rental properties, luxury vacation homes, and private residences across the United States, each project has taught me something new about creating spaces with purpose.
While every project looked different, they all shared one common goal: designing an environment that made people feel something.
That has always been my favorite part of design.
I've always believed that exceptional interiors are about far more than selecting beautiful furniture or choosing the perfect paint color. They're about understanding the people who will live in the space. How they entertain. Where they unwind. What inspires them. How they want their home to feel when they walk through the front door.
Interestingly, many clients come to me knowing what they don't like, but struggling to articulate what they do. I love that process of discovery. It's one of the reasons I started this studio.
My role isn't to impose my own style, it's to uncover yours.
By asking the right questions, listening carefully, and paying attention to the details others might overlook, I help clients define a vision they may not have been able to put into words themselves. Together, we create spaces that feel authentic, intentional, and uniquely theirs.
My design philosophy has always been simple.
Every space should be functional, beautiful, and welcoming.
A home should support your daily routines while also feeling elevated and inspiring. It should reflect your personality without chasing trends. It should be collected rather than decorated, layered rather than overdesigned, and timeless enough to evolve with you over the years.
Whether I'm selecting materials for a renovation, furnishing an entire home, or styling the finishing details, I approach every project with the same attention to detail and thoughtful design perspective that has guided my career from the very beginning.
I love bringing together texture, color, lighting, furnishings, and carefully curated pieces to create interiors that feel effortless yet sophisticated, spaces that are both visually striking and comfortable enough to truly live in.
Launching this studio felt like the natural next step in my journey. It brings together everything I've learned over the past 15 years with what I've always loved most: helping people create homes that feel deeply personal.
Whether you're refreshing a single room, furnishing a new home, or designing a vacation retreat, my goal is always the same, to make the process enjoyable, collaborative, and inspiring while delivering a home that feels unmistakably yours.
Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share a little of my story. I look forward to helping you create a space that you'll love coming home to.
